 Roya Tribal Belly Dance is an ATS® belly dance troupe located in San Diego, CA. Lead by certified teacher of FCBD® Marie Kaplan, Roya Tribal performs a modern style of belly dance as created by Carolena Nerricio of San Francisco,CA.

Biography

Roya Tribal Belly Dance was founded in the summer of 2011. Principle dancers Marie Kaplan, Kris Iselin-Bradley, Aimee Miter and Ana Maria Liriano are four women who created ‘this troupe in hopes of sharing the joy of ATS ® wherever and whenever possible. They welcome you to witness this moving improvisational art, and hope that you will enjoy! “We dance from the heart and wish to spread the joy of ATS® to the women of the San Diego area and beyond!”
